The Club was founded in 1986 and continues to move with the times: we have excellent up to date equipment for displaying digital images, and most members shoot exclusively in digital formats, although some members still use film. For most of our talks and informal events we use digital projection, but we also regularly hold print competitions and encourage members to print their work.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly and relaxed club, where all our members get the opportunity to take part in everything, regardless of their level of experience. Although there is no formal tuition, all our members are happy to help each other out. We have a varied programme which can be viewed here.

We normally meet on Thursdays at the Hungerford Town Hall at 7:45pm (except for August and a short break over Christmas), where visitors and new members are always very welcome.
However, during the current COVID-19 lockdown, the Club is not meeting in person – all our meetings planned for 2020 so far will be taking place online using Zoom. Please do not come to the Town Hall.
The club is an integral part of the Hungerford community and we are often asked to attend local events and provide photographs and images for local organisations and websites.
