CHAIN MAIL

Issue 143    June 1st   to   Sept 1st   2019

Hello, …….

Caught again with illegal software this time it was Microsoft Office on e-bay about £10, cheap I thought but surely things don’t strike twice (after the Adobe problems)!! So now I have a new product key from Amazon as their Best Choice, everything working now but watch this space! Big learning curve going on with Office 2019 professional.

The learning doesn’t stop with Office as I am now in the throws of learning a web package with WordPress.org to update Chain’s website this contains (I think it does) a lot of useful local information as well as hosting the best collection of Hungerford photos of various events in recent years taken by that steam train enthusiast Tony Bartlett.

Oh what a missing digit (9) can do, Aldbourne Taxi no. is 07977 059991, thank you Faith.

The Volunteer sector is under real pressure to keep up the numbers and here at CHAIN it’s the same, but nothing changes, so many organisations needing so many people to survive. If you are into running a computer photo programme Crofton Beam Engines would love to hear from you, to archive their photos, please email John at
john.coulson10@btinternet.com

Thanks & Best Wishes David Piper (Editor)
