The Women's Institute, meets in the Croft Hall


Hungerford Women’s Institute was formed in 1931.We are an active institute and membership enables you to make new friends and have fun and enjoy a varied programme with interesting speakers and demonstrations. Extra activities during the month are a planned walk and two book groups and a craft meeting when requested.

Members support and help with town events including the Town Show, HADCAF, and the Flower Festivals.

Membership will give you the opportunity to make your voice heard by participating in campaigns and projects concerning issues at local, national and international level. Climate Change, WI Carbon Challenge, Food Waste, End Violence against Women are a few.

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the Croft Hall at 7.30 pm. , and are pleased to welcome new members where we promise an evening of friendship and fellowship.
