Christmas Day Lunch
Instead of lunch in the Methodist Church Hall on Christmas Day, this year we’re planning to deliver some Christmas treats & chat by phone, to still make
Christmas Day special for those who would otherwise be alone.
Please contact us by 10th December if you would like to take part as a helper or guest
We’re looking for helpers to pack up the treats beforehand (allowing time to quarantine before delivery), as well as people to deliver the treats or phone people. Please note that some roles will require a current DBS certificate and / or references.
We would also be grateful for donations to cover costs so that we can provide the treats free of charge to our guests.
For more details, please contact us by email email@example.com or phone Catherine on 07717 133021
This event is organised by Hungerford Methodist Church as a service to the local community.
All Aboard offers a time to chat and play board games, or enjoy guest speakers, over a cup of tea. Our next meetings are on Thursdays 16th December, 20th January, 17th February, at 2pm, venue to be confirmed. Transport is available on request. For more details, please contact us by phone 07922 017464 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
WEST BERKS FOODBANK supports local people in crisis, providing 7 day nutritionally balanced food parcels. The Hungerford Distribution centre is now open on Wednesdays 1-3pm at the Methodist Church Hall, offering a cuppa, a chat and signposting to other services.

Beaver, Cub & Scout news
We welcome boys and girls from age 6 as Beavers, from 8 years as Cubs, and from 10.5 years as Scouts. If your child would like to try adventurous, practical & fun activities, contact email@example.com to find out more! So far this term, we’ve been hiking, camping, cycling, climbing, had a go at taekwando and archery, and enjoyed our Group Bonfire & Fireworks evening.
These great activities can only happen thanks to our amazing volunteer leaders and helpers. And we need more help – if you could give a couple of hours a week to help children & young people build memories and skills to last a lifetime, please contact us – firstname.lastname@example.org You don’t have to have a child in the group to get involved!
