Chilton Foliat Primary
Chilton Foliat School is a small school with a clear vision to improve our children’s creativity and desire to learn. We set high standards and expectations of all our pupils and ensure that every child leaving our school is confident, independent and able to apply the skills they have learnt with us throughout their lives.
As a Church of England school,we actively promote Christian values through every aspect of the life of the school, but also encourage the children to develop their understanding of other faiths.
Chilton Foliat is a small village located in the valley of the River Kennet about 2 miles North West of Hungerford. The school lies on the northern edge of the village, bordered by fields to the North and West.
Chilton Foliat has a population of approximately 400 residents. It contains a variety of residences made from either brick, flint and thatched cottages and houses.
The relatively quiet B4192 road from Hungerford to Swindon passes through the village with the River Kennet flowing alongside. Swindon, Marlborough and Newbury are within easy travelling distance. The M4 (Junction 14) is three miles away.
We are very proud of the warm, caring and friendly ethos we create within our school. The staff, governors and parents work as a team with the pupils to provide a stimulating culture for learning.
