The Badminton Club plays on a Friday evening at Hungerford Leisure Centre (John O’Gaunt School, Priory Road). It is a small, friendly club that play socially rather than competitively – we do not field teams in leagues or competitions. The club consists of people from all ages and has a mixture of new joiners and members who have been with us for many years.

We almost exclusively play doubles – games are either mixed, ladies or mens. Shuttles are provided but please bring your own racket. We play on Friday evenings from 7.00 – 9.00 PM, from the beginning of September until the end of May. The club is always looking for new members of all ages and playing abilities!

We are a very sociable club. A number of us usually go for a drink in a local pub afterwards. Membership varies year on year depending on court hire costs. Potential members can pay a guest fee for their first four visits before deciding to join. This is then deducted from the full membership fee.
