Issue 150    September 1st   to December1st 2021

The cover picture this issue was taken in Savernake Forest last Autumn. I have interpreted the feel of Autumn, the rich palate of greens, yellows and reds, remembering the sunlight filtering through the slowly thinning canopy as the trees slowly drop their leaves, encouraged by the crisp breeze which carries with it the scent of the damp forest.

Savernake Forest is a wonderful place to take a walk, as many of you will know, and such a beautiful place to visit on a pleasant day at this time of the year, and only a few miles away. The covid restrictions may be easing but the risk has not gone away. I personally prefer to keep away from the crowded places when possible, and where could be a better place than the forest. Stay safe and well
