On the next page is an unofficial list of scheduled steam-hauled excursions over Network Rail lines. The information is provided in good faith, but is not guaranteed accurate! No responsibility is accepted for any errors or omissions. Always check with the rail tour operator for current information if you are hoping to travel on a particular train as tours are often cancelled or amended at short notice.

Located on the ‘Timetable’, are the ‘Local’ version in pdf format extracted at the time of preparing the quarterly CHAIN MAIL, and a link to the full schedule for the latest up-to-date information. The entries in the Local extract are colour coded RED for trains expected to pass through Hungerford, BLUE for those which pass close by our area and a new category MAROON for occasional diesel-hauled specials which may feature heritage haulage.You should check on the relevant Timing Sheet closer to the day to find out exactly where and when this might happen.
