Message from the Chairman of CHAIN.

Chain has been very lucky to have so many wonderful volunteers over the last 42 years and we were all sorry to say goodbye to Jill Greenland our secretary. We have been very lucky to recruit a new secretary, Sandra Brooks and we welcome her to the Chain family.

Having had no suggestions regarding the First Great Western rail tickets the Trustees have decided to hold a Cream Tea and Raffle at St Lawrence’s Church on Saturday 29th June 2 – 4pm and hopefully lots of you will join us for a cup of tea and cream scones and purchase some raffle tickets.

Please spread the word about our Chairman vehicle which still has some availability to take a wheelchair patient plus passenger on trips to Stroke Clubs, Doctors, Hospitals, Churches and many other places. Please contact the office on 683727 to book the Chairman or if you are interested in becoming a driver for the Chairman.

The Chain AGM is on Monday 17th June at 7.30pm in the Magistrates Room at the Corn Exchange Complex, you are all welcome and I look forward to seeing you.
